This was a $300 million CM/GC project for a new segment of TriMet’s light rail system, featuring approximately seven miles of double track through commercial, industrial, and residential areas and adjacent to three active freight railroads.
Scope included trackwork, eight station platforms, a park-and-ride facility, retaining walls, nine major bridge structures (concrete and steel girder types) over roadways and sensitive waterways, 12 highway-rail grade crossings, utilities, street lighting, street reconstruction, multi-use paths, and civil aspects of systems work.

"It is so rewarding to be looking back on the successful outcomes of the East Segment. It certainly wasn’t easy, with complicated industrial relocations, but between the early planning and the construction flexibility, Stacy Witbeck ensured that we met all our milestones."
