Celebrating National Volunteer Week

Stacy Witbeck embraced National Volunteer Week by giving back to the places where we work throughout the country. A huge part of our unique culture is the existence of Volunteered Time Off (VTO), providing paid leave for employees to give back to their communities. This week, several employees took advantage of this program:

· Our SoCal team helped restore a Native Habitat with the National Park Service.

· A group of employees in Salt Lake City planted trees at the Regional Athletic Complex.

· The Windsor project team volunteered at the Windsor Service Alliance Food Distribution Center.

· The Portland team volunteered at Seeds of Hope at Sunflower Farms.

· SLC office employees participated in a Jordan River Canoe clean-up, where they enjoyed a beautiful afternoon, canoeing ‘down’ (but heading north) the Jordan River and picking up garbage.

Our goal is to positively impact the areas we operate in more ways than just the work we do, and this is a great example of doing just that. While this was a great week to rally around, we’re proud to help our friends and neighbors year-round. We thank each individual who utilized their VTO and look forward to more opportunities to partner with local organizations to make a positive impact.
