Sky Harbour Hangars

Stacy Witbeck is constructing a new hangar access road and supporting infrastructure at Salt Lake City International Airport to support the expansion of corporate and government aviation operations at Sky Harbour. The project is being delivered as a Bid-Build contract in compliance with FAA airport requirements. 

Need 

Salt Lake City Airport requires expanded ground-side infrastructure to accommodate growth in aeronautical activities for the State of Utah, including operations by the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) and Civil Air Patrol, as well as new corporate hangar development. The project provides the roadway access and utility infrastructure necessary to support future hangar lease lines and taxiway connectivity for corporate hangar development. 

Work 

• Constructed a 2,000-linear-foot access roadway serving the Sky Harbour hangar development area 
• Installed new underground utilities sized to support future hangar lease lines 
• Built a new taxilane connection linking the hangar area to the airfield 
• Coordinated all work in compliance with FAA requirements and SLC Airport standards 

Collaboration 

Stacy Witbeck partnered with Ardurra Group and worked closely with the SLC Airport Department, Design and Construction Management Division, throughout design and construction coordination.
