This was a $141 million CM/GC project to construct a 3.3-mile, double-track streetcar system. The project included approximately 2.5 miles of full-width roadway reconstruction and the complete replacement of the two bridges over I-75 and I-94. It also included 19 station platforms, OCS and traction power, train signal and communication systems, traffic signals, street lighting, and public and private utility relocations. This system has the most off-wire capacity of any streetcar in the U.S..
